Audevard Ekycush
To provide comfort and support from symptoms to horses affected with Cushing’s disease, a feed supplement that acts on all three levels (pituitary gland, hypothalamus, overall comfort).
In horses affected by Cushing’s disease, dopamine (which normally regulates the production of other hormones) is no longer produced. Without its regulatory role, many hormones such as ACTH are released in excessive amounts.
These hormones have various functions in the body, and this imbalance leads to the development of different clinical signs that cause discomfort in the horse (hirsutism, laminitis, muscle wasting, lethargy, etc.).
Supporting dopamine production and regulating the secretion of hormones such as ACTH helps restore comfort to the horse.
Its 3-level action provides comfort to affected horses and ponies.
1/ Hypothalamus
• Ginkgo Biloba L.: contains specific flavonoids that act in the brain.1
• Mucuna pruriens: provides L-Dopa, a dopamine precursor.2
2/ Pituitary gland
• Chasteberry: contains diterpenes that act in the pituitary gland.3
3/ Overall comfort
• Cinnamomum cassia blume: metabolic regulation.4
• Vitamin A: essential role on cerebral physiological functions.5
