What is Tessie?
The first fast-acting solution for the alleviation of situational anxiety and fear in dogs, triggered by noise or owner departure.*
Oral Solution.
Easy and accurate dosing.
Takes effect within 1 hour.
Lasts at least 3 hours.
12 months shelf life once opened.
Usage:
Tessie is administered orally at a dose of 1 ml/10kg one hour before the owner's departure or the expected noise event, or as soon as the owner notices the first signs of anxiety or detects a trigger.
Do not feed the dog for one hour before to one hour after treatment, as absorption may be delayed. A small treat can be given to ensure that the dog swallows the solution.
Re-dosing can be done at least 3 hours after the previous dose.
The product can be dosed up to 3 times within 24 hours.
How does Tessie work?
Contains Tasipimidine.
Tasipimidine binds to alpha-2A adrenergic receptors within the central nervous system.
This binding inhibits the release of noradrenaline, resulting in a decrease in physiological and behavioural signs of fear and anxiety.
