Alizin Injection 10ml

Alizin is used to terminate pregnancy in bitches. It is given by injection and can be used up to 45 days after mating. It is best given during the early stages of pregnancy if possible. Alizin works by acting against progesterone in the body, resulting in loss of the pregnancy. Occasionally Alizin is prescribed by vets for other reasons due to its anti-progesterone effects.

Accidental human injection should be avoided, with extra care taken with women of child-bearing age. Due to the oily nature of this injection, it is important for the operator to avoid accidental injection into a human finger, as the resulting reaction can potentially lead to loss of the finger.
